Welcome to the official website of Kombit Chanje Haïti (“KCH,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website located at (Site Link) (the “Site”), as well as any related services, content, tools, communications, and features offered by KCH (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Site or Services in any manner, including but not limited to browsing, submitting forms, signing up for updates, making donations, or contacting us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Site and Services.

1. About Kombit Chanje Haïti

Kombit Chanje Haïti (KCH), meaning “Working Together to Change Haiti,” is a community development and professional services organization founded on June 30, 2025, and headquartered in Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA. KCH is co-founded by Jean Eddy Millien and Daniel Pierre with a vision to empower Haitian communities through education, youth development, sustainable initiatives, and compassionate service.

Our mission is to create positive community impact and ensure stakeholder satisfaction through quality, trustworthy, and mission-driven support. We operate with core values of honesty, reliability, discipline, collaboration, and respect.

2. Acceptance of Terms

Your use of the Site constitutes your unconditional acceptance of these Terms. We may update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest information.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Site or engage with our Services. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age and have the full right, authority, and capacity to enter into these Terms and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Site without prior written consent from KCH.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

  • Defamatory, obscene, abusive, hateful, or discriminatory;

  • Misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive;
  • Designed to harm or exploit minors.

KCH reserves the right to terminate or restrict your access to the Site for violations of this section.

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, audio, software, and design elements, is the exclusive property of Kombit Chanje Haïti or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

“Kombit Chanje Haïti,” “KCH,” and all associated logos and slogans are trademarks of KCH. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

6. User Submissions & Communications

Any information you submit through contact forms, emails, messages, or comments (collectively, “Submissions”) will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By submitting content, you grant KCH a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display such content for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving our Services.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to submit the content;
  • The content does not violate any third-party rights;
  • The content is accurate and not misleading.

KCH is not obligated to monitor or respond to Submissions but reserves the right to remove any content at its sole discretion.

7. Donations, Contributions, and Support

KCH welcomes financial and in-kind support from individuals and organizations who share our vision. All donations are voluntary and made at your own discretion.

  • Donation Processing: Donations may be processed through third-party payment processors (e.g., PayPal, Stripe). KCH is not responsible for the practices or policies of these platforms.
  • Tax Deductibility: KCH is currently operating as a grassroots initiative. Donors should consult their tax advisor regarding the deductibility of contributions, as KCH may not yet be recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit under U.S. law.
  • Refunds: While we strive to honor donor intent, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.

All contributions support our programs in education, youth empowerment, and community development in Haiti.

8. Third-Party Links and Content

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources (e.g., social media, partner organizations, Upwork profile at kch.upwork.com). These links are provided for convenience only and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.

KCH is not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability of third-party sites. You access them at your own risk.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

KCH DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE;
  • ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED;
  • THE CONTENT IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.

YOU USE THE SITE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KOMBIT CHANJE HAÏTI, ITS FOUNDERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM:

  • YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE;
  • UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA;
  • STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SITE;
  • ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SITE OR SERVICES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 USD.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KCH, its founders (Jean Eddy Millien and Daniel Pierre), volunteers, partners, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees), arising out of or in connection with:

  • Your violation of these Terms;
  • Your misuse of the Site or Services;
  • Your submission of false, inaccurate, or infringing content;
  • Any breach of your representations and warranties.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fairfield County, Connecticut. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other posted guidelines or rules, constitute the entire agreement between you and KCH regarding your use of the Site and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, or representations.
